What is VirtualHoops? What do you guys do, plain and simple?

First and foremost, VirtualHoops is a video editing and production service offered to basketball players, street ball and high school. We produce digital footage of athletes. However, the founder wanted to incorporate a recruiting website as a tool so basketball players can find all the information they need to help better their games with looking all over the web and college coaches can find talent they need without looking all over the country.

If I do sign up, is there any obligation?

Membership to the VirtualHoops Recruiting Community is free. There is no obligation at all. You will not be billed, called, anything. There are no hidden costs. Nothing.

So if it's free, how do you guys make money?

We make money through offering video editing and production services. We do not charge for our recruiting community.

If I do sign up, can you guarantee I get a scholarship? Do you guys offer scholarships?

We do not offer scholarships. We do not guarantee scholarships. No one can guarantee you a scholarship. Do not ever trust any service that claims to do such a thing because it is not possible, no matter what their claimed success rate may be. Even though that is the entire nature of the business we are providing, there is no guarantee that a player will get signed or a college coach will find the player he is looking for. Individual talent and other personal attributes will always be the biggest factor in this process. But this service will greatly increase the exposure of players to college coaches and vice versa.

How long will it take before my Username/Password works?

Your username and password will work immediately

Will I get my game video back?

No, all player footage submitted to VirtualHoops will become property of VirtualHoops, unless special circumstances arise.

If I am a coach and I order a video of a player, how long can I expect to wait before I receive it?

Film of the players you order usually will be sent out the same day the order was received (before 3 p.m. EST), however, sometimes there may be a large amount of video to edit. Therefore, our policy is we will send out video of player within three days of the order.

What information does VirtualHoops receive and how do you use it?

When you register for Service, we ask you for your name, contact information, preferences, and certain demographic information. This information lets us provide personalized services and communicate separately with you.

May I choose what information I disclose?

While we need certain information to register you as a unique user and let you access personalized services, such as email, profile and contact information other requested information is optional and may be given at your discretion.

May I choose what communications I receive?

We occasionally send out an email newsletter to VirtualHoops members to highlight features of the service. You can elect not to receive communications from us or from other parties, either when you register or by noting your preference in response to communications from us.

What if I need to review or change the personal information I previously disclosed?

We encourage VirtualHoops members to update and edit their personal information and keep it current. You can easily correct or update your personal information at any time via our Update Center or other location specifically identified in connection with a particular part of our service.

What kind of security is used to protect my information?

We store all user information in secure databases protected via a variety of access controls. This data is accessed only for the purposes specified in this privacy statement.

Who has access to my information?

We do not share personally identifiable data with other companies (apart from those acting as our agents in providing our service to you, who agree to use it only for that purpose), except as necessary to fulfill a transaction you have requested, or unless you otherwise give us permission to do so. VirtualHoops may also share such information in response to legal process, such as a court order or subpoena.

What about other companies featured on VirtualHoops?

You may separately agree to provide your information to other companies who provide content for various parts of our Service, in order to use their services, order their products, or receive offers from them. If you agree to provide information to these companies, that information will be subject to their privacy policies.

What about children's information?

Children under the age of 13 may not register for VirtualHoops or use any VirtualHoops services that require personally identifiable information.
